GET CONNECTED TIPS
Nifty ideas you can use to build a better business

Trade Show Smarts

To make the most of your trade show experience, start networking before you ever hit the show floor. Several weeks before the show, send an e-mail to a few of the people you want to meet at the show. Tell them that you’re interested in seeing their new products or want to talk about finding a new supplier or are interested in discussing industry trends. For more trade show tips, check out the online Success Skills Seminar Can A Trade Show Boost Your Small Business? It’s free compliments of the National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE).

Message Storage

Tired of searching through messy e-mail folders to find the information you saved? Try this tip: File messages according to content. If you’re working on a specific project, file all messages you receive about the project in one folder. Don’t file by sender’s name, by date or other information. Create folders for content and you’ll be able to find the information you need in a snap.
