Easy Coupon Tracking
For small businesses that use coupons to
attract customers, there’s a simple way to
track the effectiveness of those coupons.
Place the same coupon in every publication
where you advertise. For each publication,
print a different number in the corner of your
coupon. When customers return the coupons,
you’ll know which publication generated the
most response. The numbering system works well
for coupons placed in newspapers, shopper
publications, direct mail pieces, newsletters
and flyers.
Subscriber Pop-ups
To entice more Web site visitors to
subscribe to your e-newsletter, try a pop-up
subscription box. Pop-ups and pop-unders grab
attention. Make them attractive and to the
point. Don’t use hype that annoys visitors.
And make pop-ups intelligent. A subscription
pop-up should appear once, not every time a
visitor clicks on a new page.
