Laptop Or Desktop?

Can’t decide whether to make your next PC purchase a laptop or a desktop? As you weigh price and portability along with other pros and cons of each, be sure to take life span into consideration.

Notebook PCs usually die sooner than desktops. You can count on four years of rugged work from a top-shelf desktop. Laptops, however, generally sputter out after about three years. The life span shortens even more if you bounce a notebook around on car seats or toss one around on airplanes. Keep in mind that crafty thieves love laptops, too.
