Whether you’re a novice inventor or seasoned pro, you’ll want to check out the resources at the United Inventors Association’s Web page,
http://www.uiausa.org. The site is a compilation of articles, online links, expert Q&A and networking information that will put you on the right track to developing your next great idea.
You can click on “Novice Inventor’s First Steps” to get basic information. Or go directly to “Ask The Experts” for detailed answers to common patent questions. If you want to get face-to-face with other inventors, click on “Inventor Organizations,” then search by state for networking groups in your area. The site also offers a bookstore, a page about invention promotion and a section that takes you to inventor resources.
