For Women Entrepreneurs

Last month the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) launched a new Web portal for women business owners. The site MY BIZ for Women, www.sba.gov/women, provides comprehensive business information and assistance to women entrepreneurs. Here’s a little of what you’ll find:
  • Information on starting a business

  • Gaining access to capital

  • Contracting opportunities

  • Links to SBA resource partners offering business counseling

  • State-by-state list of SBA Women’s Business Centers

More From The SBA

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) wants to keep you informed. That’s why the agency offers a variety of free newsletters. Just go to the SBA subscription center at http://web.sba.gov/list and check the boxes for the newsletters you want to receive. Your choices, among many, include:

  • Newsletters for women entrepreneurs

  • State and regional newsletters

  • Newsletters about procurement and federal business opportunities

  • Newsletters for entrepreneurial veterans
