If you’re looking for money to fund your startup business, chances are you’ll find the dollars in your own pocket. In a recent survey by the National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE), nearly 60 percent of respondents said they rely on personal finances as their primary source of funding to start their businesses. Even after the business is established, 36 percent of respondents said they use their personal savings as an ongoing means of financing their businesses.
