FAQ Page Advice

The FAQ page on your business Web site should do more than simply answer questions. It should promote your products or services. It should enhance customer confidence. It should sell! For instance, you sell custom jewelry. Your FAQ page should state more than "we make quality custom jewelry for individuals." Tell visitors about the real deal. For instance, "we design and create one-of-a-kind jewelry that reflects our commitment to craftsmanship, quality and excellence." Use your imagination when writing answers to FAQs. Stress the unique aspects of your products and services while answering common questions.

Trademark versus Patent

New business owners often get confused about using trademarks and patents for their enterprises. Basically, a trademark protects logos, symbols, names, titles and words that you use to identify your business. Patents protect inventions. Trademarks and patents are filed with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO). For more information, visit the USPTO Web site.
