Nifty ideas you can use to build a better business

Quote Me On That

Here’s a sure-fire success tip for your online and offline press releases: Always include quotes. Reporters love pearls of wisdom. Put them in your press release via quotes from you. If you’re announcing a new product, use a quote to succinctly explain why the product is important to customers. If you’re opening a new business, give a quick quote about how yours differs from the competition. If your press release addresses an industry award your company received, comment on the status of or changes in your industry.

Web site Appeal

Your Web site will be more inviting to visitors if the design elements on pages stay consistent. Place navigation tools in the same location on every page. Put your logo in same spot on each page. Choose two sans-serifs type styles, no more, and use them on each page. Limit the use of colors to small areas, such as headers. Never use colors for page backgrounds. These simple rules will help keep your Web visitors happily trolling around your site.
