Hiring Vets
Looking to hire a U.S. military veteran? Then look to the Web site www.HireVetsFirst.gov. The site is sponsored by the President’s National Hire Veterans Committee and can link you up with one of the 2,000 One-Stop Career Centers nationwide. At the centers, employers receive assistance in connecting to and recruiting veterans. The centers offer resources such as specialized Local Veterans’ Employment Representatives and Disabled Veterans’ Outreach Program staff who work solely with veteran populations and can provide relevant veteran applicant referrals.
