Find Financing For Your Business

By Mary C. Weaver

You’ve worked hard to make your small business succeed, and you’ve got no lack of great ideas. But sometimes taking your company to the next level requires an infusion of cash. It isn’t always easy to get, but your chances increase dramatically if you’re persistent enough to explore the many options available.

They all boil down to two basic categories: debt and equity. If you need to purchase equipment or materials, borrowing is probably the answer. And the time is right, with interest rates so low. But if your goal is to expand a thriving enterprise and you believe your company has the potential to make big bucks, you may want to look for an investment partner—a venture capitalist or an “angel” who will front you cash in exchange for a chunk of your company.

Either way, this article will highlight ways to begin the process.
