Article 8: Getting Help With The Branding
Process Developing a great brand takes
tons of ingenuity, so don't feel daunted if you
need a little help. You may choose to enlist the
services of a graphic designer, a marketing and
PR expert, a management consultant and a
creativity guru. Some entrepreneurs even
specialize in branding.
Free help is available too from Small
Business Administration (SBA) partners. Through
your local Service Corps of Retired Executives
(SCORE) office you can network with volunteer
consultants on brand development, marketing and
all phases of perfecting and communicating your
message. Check the White Pages or visit
www.score.org online.
Experts at the SBA's Small Business Development
Centers can also help you develop and market
your brand. Centers are located throughout the
country. To find the nearest one, visit
www.sba.gov/sbdc/.
If you'd like to take the SBA's online Building
Your Brand workshop, go to
www.sba.gov/training/buildingyourbrand.html.
